PRIMUS Immobilien AG finances projects with institutional investors

PRIMUS Immobilien AG, a leading project developer in Berlin, continues to observe a strong demand for condominiums in the Berlin district of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf. Since 2018 the company has been selling apartments in the two ongoing residential project developments “105 Park Residences” and “fiftysix“.

PRIMUS Immobilien AG, a leading project developer in Berlin, will in future open up to institutional investors. A long-term capital partnership was agreed with a German insurance company for the first time in January of this year. The insurance company is providing an amount in the mid double-digit million range to finance investments in real estate projects in Berlin and on the Baltic Sea coast.

The first funds for the financing of three projects in Berlin have already been drawn down. “In the past, we have primarily financed our projects through partnerships with wealthy private investors,” says Sebastian Fischer, CEO of PRIMUS Immobilien AG. “Now we are expanding our partnerships to include institutional investors such as insurance companies, pension schemes and pension funds and are thus excellently positioned for the future”, explains Fischer. PRIMUS Immobilien AG has expanded its project development volume in 2018 to just over one billion euros. Further project acquisitions are planned.
